Breaking News: Police Suspect Florida Man in Murder of Family of Four

33-Year-Old Jean Olivier Climbed 20-Story Building to Escape Police

Wanted for Throwing Chair, Olivier Faces Murder, Arson Charges

WEB - Police have arrested 33-year-old Jean Olivier of West Park, Florida, in connection with the brutal murder of a couple and their two young children, followed by the burning of their remains in a fire pit.

According to authorities, Olivier climbed to the top of 555 5th Avenue, a 20-story building in Midtown Manhattan, in an attempt to evade capture. However, in a bizarre twist of events, his escape plans were thwarted when he allegedly began throwing furniture from the building.

Olivier is now facing multiple charges, including murder, arson, and resisting arrest. Police say they are still investigating the motive behind the killings but believe Olivier may have been acquaintance of the victims.

NYPD officials also confirmed that Olivier was wanted for allegedly throwing a chair at a person in South Florida. It remains unclear if there is any connection between the two incidents.

In a separate incident, a Florida man was attacked by an alligator while swimming in a Central Florida lake early Sunday morning. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Stay tuned for updates on both of these developing stories as more details become available.
